Podlaskie Śniadanie Mistrzów (Breakfast of Champions) is an event that we, the people of Białystok, look forward to every year. This much loved, recurring family picnic surprises visitors with a new theme in every edition, giving exhibitors the freedom to interpret it in their own unique way. This year’s theme was, “Are You Playing Green?” For us, as the Greenverta brand, it could not have been more fitting. The word green is not only part of our name, it is at the heart of everything we do.
As a local manufacturer of promotional products, we decided to interpret the theme in the way we know best, through sustainability, recycled materials, and a genuine commitment to the comfort and wellbeing of our local community.
The Challenge: building brand awareness
Our main goal was to build Greenverta’s brand awareness among the people of Białystok. However, we did not want to rely on flashy banners or hand out flyers that would quickly become unnecessary waste. Instead, we wanted to show that behind our products are people who truly care about quality, sustainability, and the wellbeing of others. Our challenge was to create a recycled product that would genuinely take care of the event’s visitors and provide them with a comfortable space to relax.
The Solution: custom blanket
Instead of a traditional exhibition stand, we created and donated a Games and Relaxation Zone for the local community. We produced 20 large, soft picnic blankets made from recycled materials, each printed with classic games that everyone knows and enjoys. It was important to us that their production reflected the principles of the circular economy, proving that for Greenverta, green means recycling, responsibility, and thoughtful design.
The blankets served a dual purpose. They provided a comfortable place to relax on the grass while also functioning as oversized game boards for classic family games such as Checkers, Ludo, Twister, and an educational game called Sorting Master, designed to teach proper waste segregation. Staying true to the sustainability theme, we deliberately avoided plastic game pieces. Instead, we used natural materials, pine cones and smooth stones, which we collected and hand painted especially for our youngest players.
The rules of the games were described on the landing page linked to by the QR code printed on the blankets.

Execution – custom fleece blankets
The response to our zone throughout the event exceeded all our expectations and filled us with genuine gratitude. The people of Białystok embraced our invitation to “play green” with enthusiasm, and for a while, smartphones naturally gave way to smiles, conversations, and shared experiences.
It was incredibly rewarding to see how our products addressed the real needs of the event participants.

RelaxationOur oversized, soft fabric dice quickly became comfortable pillows for both children and adults looking to unwind in the shade of the trees.

Bringing Generations Together
Entire families gathered on our recycled picnic blankets. Grandparents taught their grandchildren how to play Checkers using painted stones as game pieces, creating precious moments of quality time together.

Creativity
Children used their imagination to connect the blankets into large play areas where they felt free, safe, and inspired to create their own games.

Results
Taking part in Podlaskie Śniadanie Mistrzów (Breakfast of Champions) reinforced our belief that a thoughtful local manufacturer does not need to shout to be noticed. Greenverta’s brand awareness in Białystok grew because we showed who we truly are, a responsible neighbour that cares about the environment and creates products and experiences that bring comfort, joy, and meaningful connections.
We are proud to have been part of this inspiring green initiative.
